Outdoor Event Production for The Garden Show
The Garden Show is a travelling outdoor lifestyle event that takes place at some of the most prestigious venues in the South of England - including Firle Place, Stansted Park, Rookesbury Park, Herstmonceux Castle, Loosely House and Broadland Estate. Tech My Event has been a trusted production partner, delivering power distribution, site PA, AV, radio communications and internet infrastructure across the full six-day event window.
The Brief
Outdoor events at multiple prestigious venues each present their own unique set of logistical and technical challenges. The Garden Show requires a full site infrastructure - not just stage production - covering everything from power distribution to site-wide communication. The event is open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with our team on-site from the start of the week for build and setup.
The Challenge
What sets The Garden Show apart is how early we get involved. As soon as a new venue is confirmed, we're brought in to work with the organising team to help refine the layout of the showground. This early involvement allows us to eliminate unnecessary cable runs, reduce costs and design a site infrastructure that works efficiently within the specific geography and character of each venue.
Every outdoor venue is different - a walled garden, a formal parkland, a castle estate. Each demands a bespoke approach to power routing, PA coverage and communications. Planning ahead means fewer surprises on site and a smoother event for everyone.
